Shayla loves to play play play, so she needed more training to teach her to listen better. She is did amazing with her training and we can’t wait to see her in her new loving home. She returned from the honor farm at the end of December and is looking for her Fur-Ever home.

Pollie was in a foster home for 6 months and did great with their family. He has very apprehensive of men since he was a puppy, but he does warm up to them in a home environment. He has a few rowdy spurts of energy and loves to play. Pollie would do best with a playmate or a family who can take him out to play regularly. He does need to learn a few manners, but he is still young and very smart.

Wesson was the rowdiest of boys when he came to our facility. He loves to play, but was very rough with whoever he was playing with. He did not understand the leash and would end up pulling and screeching whenever he was on a walk. Wesson was sent to the honor farm to learn how to walk on a leash and learn basic manners so he could be adopted more easily. He was very young when he arrived but had no training under his belt. His training went very well, though he still needs someone with the patience to train him further. He returned from the honor farm at the end of December and is ready for his next adventure.

Sage is beautiful shy girl who takes a few minutes to warm up to strangers. She trained at the honor farm specifically to get her more socialization and train her to better respond to basic commands. She is a very snuggly and loving girl who has been overlooked since her arrival because of her shyness and kennel protective attitude. She returned from the honor farm at the end of December and did amazing with her training.

This happy dude can unfortunately clear a 6 foot fence with ease. He loves to play and run. He is the sweetest cuddly boy with those that he trusts but would also make an excellent guard dog to protect the family from strangers. Moose would be best suited in a home where he has a lot of area to burn off energy. He did have a few weeks of training at the honor farm but not the full course.

Maisy came to us from a family who felt it was in her best interest to find someone with more time to give her the care she deserves. They were heartbroken to let her go. Maisy was very scared for the first 2 weeks at our shelter, but has now become one of our most loving dogs. She is still a little shy around new people. Maisy gets looked over because she can be timid around strangers at times, but given the right home, she would be the best cuddle bug you could ask for. She gets along with most other dogs, but requires an introduction to be sure. She is very curious about cats, so may take some slow introductions to get her used to them.

Astro is a sweet, snuggly boy! He loves to be outside and go for long walks where he can wander, but once he comes in the house he is a very quiet boy. He does show that he has been trained in the past, does great off leash, responds quickly to commands and is very well mannered. Kennel trained, loads up in a vehicle, and respectful in the house. He gets along with other dogs, but other dogs in the home will require an introduction. Astro loves to play and run as much as possible, so he would be best suited for a family with an active lifestyle to take him on long walks or out to run, or simply a large area to play

Huck is very people motivated an loves attention. He is very smart… too much for his own good sometimes and will jump a 6 foot fence. Huck loves to play tug of war, either with toys or the leash you have him on. He has a very goofy personality and just wants someone to play with him. Huck is selective on which dogs he likes, so other dogs in the home would require proper slow introductions. Huck was in a loving home for a while, but unfortunately his foster was hospitalized and he needed to come back to the shelter. It broke the fosters heart to return him, but he deserves another shot at happiness.

We have had some success introducing him slowly to our cats here, but if they run he will chase and catch them. Fillmore has great manners, but he will gently jump up to give you hugs. Fillmore deserves to have a loving home with someone to play with him.
